To ease any stress and to make life that little easier, we have put together some of our most frequently asked questions we receive on a daily basis from prospective trialists.
We usually cap clubs attending on the day to around 15. However, the UK Football Trials records all games and send video footage to our whole network. Football scouting is challenging and we are seeing more and more elite scouts working independently with an extensive network of clubs. This is most evident with our Head of Recruitment Aaron willis. Aaron spent time at pro clubs as a young player before moving into a Non league. He has managed and coached at senior and youth level moving into recruitment where he has scouted for clubs in the premier league, championship, league one and two etc. Willis now scouts independently for clubs across the Uk placing many players from our Trials.
This really does varry depending on the trial. The U.K Football trial success rate is much higher than conventional trials due to many factors including the coaching, the expectation and instructions we give and the high standards of trialists. UK Football trial coaches work with some of the UK's elite football clubs. Our lead coach Johnson Stansley currently works for Westham United and has over seen the development of some of the UK hotest talent including Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham. He has the ability to bring out the best in players through his coaching and management on the day, giving players the best opportunity. We usually have around 40% of players details requested on the day with around 60% of those requested invited in for trial.
Absolutely, do not let age distruct you from chasing your goal. If you are not successful with a professional club, we have plenty of semi-professional clubs in our network who may be interested. We hold trials for players aged 7-29 years old.
If you live outside UK, you are eligible to apply for our trial programmes. In fact we help so many players coming outside of Europe, Africa and America. The problem occurs when a player has a visa restriction, then it is unlikely a club will take you further as the restriction causes an issue.
Yes, we provide facilitation to only the qualified applicants who meet our criteria through undergoing into our process of recruitment. We provide air ticket, visa process and accomodation to our trialists.
Yes, We have a quick and realiable sources to have your trials as soon as possible. If you need a quick process you have to pay for your air ticket, visa process and accomodation by taking your booking with us.
